Core / Uptime

Core

From $100/month

For companies that need IT to simply work.

Uptime

From $133/month

For companies where one hour down means lost money.

The real cost of waiting until something breaks

IT only exists when something breaks

You pay by the hour after operations slow down, without knowing the final cost or resolution time.

Nobody is watching the environment

Patches, backups, inactive accounts, and permissions accumulate until they become a visible problem.

An outage stops billing

In Puerto Rico, power and internet fail. Without continuity, every interruption costs sales and time.

All of this is included in either plan

We do not count tickets or hours for remote help desk work. Both plans include the same list of services; the only thing that changes is the staffed window and how fast we respond.

Unlimited remote help desk in Spanish and English

Your team writes or calls and receives support within plan scope, without ticket or hour counting.

Patch and device health management

We organize operating system and application security updates with a schedule and report.

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Users, groups, licenses, authentication, email filters, and access issues. Licenses are not included.

Employee onboarding and offboarding

We prepare access when someone joins and close accounts when someone leaves, when admin access is available.

Antivirus and security alerts

We configure and respond to alerts from the client security solution. Licenses remain the client responsibility.

Incident containment

If we detect an incident, we contain it immediately, isolate what is affected, and notify you. Full recovery is quoted as a project.

Backups and restore tests

We configure backups, verify execution, and test restoration quarterly. Storage is not included.

Inventory and documentation

We maintain records of equipment, licenses, vendors, network, systems, and access for less improvisation.

Service tracking portal

Every request is logged in our ticket system, with access for your company. You see what was requested, who handled it, how long it took, and how it was resolved.

Monthly status report

You receive status, open risks, and recommendations written for the owner, not just technicians.

Quarterly planning

We review the state of the environment, what is coming, and next quarter's technology budget.

Automated 24/7 monitoring, staffed attention during defined hours

Our systems watch your environment continuously and act on what they detect. Attention from a person on our team operates within your plan's hours.

  • Core from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Response within 4 hours.
  • Uptime from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Response within 1 hour.

Both plans include exactly the same services. Uptime covers more staffed hours and responds faster. That is all that changes.

What happens if we miss the response time

The case escalates automatically inside Smartech and you receive, in writing, what happened and what we are doing about it. Response times and how we met them are logged in your portal and reported in the monthly report.

Designed to operate in Puerto Rico

An outside provider often assumes power and internet stay up. Here, we know they do not.

We document how your operation works when the office fails: which systems matter, where critical information lives, how people work from somewhere else, and the recovery order.

All of this is included in both plans. What changes is how late you can call us and how fast we respond.

What continuity covers

  • Critical information backed up with tested restoration
  • Documented restore test every quarter
  • Documented remote-operation protocol
  • Internet-provider failure management and follow-up
  • Quarterly access and permission review

Physical infrastructure such as UPS, generators, cabling, or redundant links is evaluated and recommended. Installation is quoted separately.

Two clear plans, not four conflicting tiers

Pricing is calculated per user: the first user pays the full rate and each additional user pays half. The annual plan requires a twelve-month commitment; month to month cancels whenever you want.

Initial diagnostic — $500, optional and recommended

You can subscribe directly. But we recommend starting with a diagnostic of the environment during the first month.

Without a diagnostic we start operating an environment we do not know, and we discover it while resolving incidents. With one, we know from day one what you have, what is at risk, and what to tackle first.

The findings report is yours. The diagnostic is not added automatically to any subscription: it is contracted separately, when you decide.

Includes

  • Full inventory of equipment, licenses, vendors, and warranties
  • Real verification that your backups restore
  • Detection of open access that should not be open
  • Identification of licenses you pay for and nobody uses
  • Out-of-support devices with replacement priority
  • A written, prioritized work plan

Need to renew your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace licenses?

You can buy them through us. When you purchase through Smartech, your licenses and your technical support live in one place: we administer them, resolve access problems, and warn you before they expire. No calling Microsoft and no waiting in queue.

View license catalog

The cost of the licenses stays with the client, as the Service Agreement states. What changes is where you buy them.

No fine print

These jobs are quoted separately as projects, with approved pricing before work begins:

  • Cloud, email, file, or tenant migrations
  • Servers, network redesign, structured cabling, or new-office setup
  • Equipment, hardware, licenses, antivirus, and backup storage costs
  • Automations, Power Platform, Apps Script, intranets, or document structures
  • Retention, compliance, eDiscovery policies, or user training
  • ERP, point of sale, or specialized third-party software support
  • Full recovery after a major security incident, or custom software development

The subscription is remote. On-site visits, physical installation, UPS, generators, cabling, and redundant links are outside the subscription and only handled by separate arrangement.

Want the full detail? Our Service Agreement specifies exactly what each plan includes, what falls outside it, and the conditions we operate under. It is published before you subscribe, not after.

Requirements for the service to work

Our service manages your environment, but it does not replace the tools that protect it. If something is missing, we recommend and quote it.

  • Active Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace licenses
  • An active licensed antivirus solution
  • Contracted storage for backups
  • Devices running an operating system within the manufacturer's support period

How we start

Service is active from day one. These are the first weeks.

Activation

We install monitoring, take the access we need, and open your ticket portal. The help desk is available immediately.

Stabilization

We fix urgent issues, document the environment, and organize access during the first weeks.

Ongoing operation

We run daily support, remediation planning, and the monthly status report.

Remote access to your computers

We install a registered remote-access tool. The employee sees the session when it happens and each access is documented.

If you also contract the optional diagnostic, the first week includes the full environment audit and the prioritized work plan.

Automation that gives time back

We automate repetitive work to reduce waiting, with human review when something is not routine.

Technology accelerates the work. Decisions about your environment are made by a person who understands your operation.

Detect before it breaks

Failure patterns in drives, memory, or connectivity can be addressed before a ticket is opened.

Resolve repetitive work

Password resets, permissions, and standard installs can be resolved with less waiting.

Translate the technical

The monthly report explains what happened, what it costs, what we recommend, and why.

FAQ

Do we need to fire our current technician?

No. We can work with an internal resource and take on monitoring, documentation, and first-level remote support.

Do you connect to our computers?

Yes, when needed. The remote connection is logged and the employee sees the session while it happens.

Do you come to my office?

The subscription is 100% remote. If a situation requires physical presence, it is coordinated and quoted separately.

What if I need help outside hours?

Automated monitoring runs continuously and acts on what it detects. Attention from a person on our team operates Monday through Friday: Core from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Uptime from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Anything that arrives outside those hours is handled when the next business window opens, or by separate arrangement.

What is the real difference between Core and Uptime?

In services, none: both plans include exactly the same thing. Uptime covers more staffed hours and responds faster. That is all that changes.

Are we tied to a long contract?

The annual plan requires a twelve-month commitment, and the discount exists in exchange for that commitment. Month to month cancels whenever you want. You can start with either one.

Is the initial diagnostic required?

No. You can subscribe directly. We recommend the $500 diagnostic because it tells us from day one what you have, what is at risk, and what to tackle first, but it is optional and is never added to your subscription on its own.

Are licenses included?

No. The cost of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, antivirus, and storage stays with you. You can buy them through Smartech so licenses and support live in one place.

Do you handle our data?

We have administrative access limited to support scope. Access is logged and documented in the Service Agreement.
